    During the end of the W.W. II she was used together with more than 60 other German steamers for transport of civilian German refugees and wounded soldiers from Polish ports to the Freeport of Copenhagen. In all more than 225,000 civilians and 147,000 soldiers were landed in the Freeport during March and April 1945.

    08.03.1945: Arrived Copenhagen with 5,500 civilians from Gdansk.

    11.03.1945: Sailed Copenhagen.

    16.03.1945: Arrived Copenhagen with 5,000 civilians from Gdynia.

    20.03.1945: Sailed Copenhagen for German port.

    25.03.1945: Arrived Copenhagen with 1,600 civilians and 3,000 soldiers from Gdynia.

    29.03.1945: Sailed Copenhagen.

    03.04.1945: Arrived Copenhagen with 3,000 civilians and 2,000 soldiers from Hela.

    08.04.1945: Sailed Copenhagen.

    21.04.1945: Arrived Copenhagen with an unknown number of passengers from Hela.

    Just the numbers of passengers make you think………..
